Finally. The day I'd find out what I'd have to do to take over my father's company. I walked over to our secretary, Reina, and asked if my father was in. "Yes. He's in his office," she said with a smile on her face. Rumor had it she had a crush on me, not that it's important. I'm too gay for her, in the best way possible.
I walked to the elevators, smiling at an attractive man I saw who'd just entered the same elevator as me. He was maybe half a foot shorter than me, about five-foot eight, and had bright green hair and freckles. He was the cutest thing. Little did I know, our paths were meant to join at that moment.
I noticed that he was going to the top floor as well, which was strange because that floor had one office: my father's.
"Hey. What's your name?" I said, trying not to be too suspicious. He looked over at me and I noticed that his very baggy as he smiled at me. He extended his hand and his smile only became more radient. "Masaomi Abe, and you are?" He said happily.
"I am Junichirou Mori, son of Taka Mori, whom you seem to be visiting. It is nice to meet you." He seemed nice enough, though very poor. I wondered why he'd be visiting my father. People of his economic state were usually seen by Reina first, so how'd he get inside?
"Well, my father sent me since I have to keep my end of a business deal," he stated. I simply nodded. This is was strange considering my father wanted me to meet him at this time too. As we aproached the top floor, I fixed my my tie nervously. Did my being here have something to do with this.... poor man?
Diiiiiiiing! Finally, we were there. I stepped in front of the other male, pushing her aside before walking into my father's office. Once inside, my father stood up and began walking in my direction, arms outstretched. "Welcome, my son!" Father said as he walked straight passed me and hugged Masaomi.
"Dad? I'm right here. That's not your son. I am." I said with a straight face. My father looked at me and chuckled softly. "He's not my son yet. But he will be. Now, let me explain how young Mr. Abe here fits into how you get the company," he explained. "Now, the company law states that you must marry before your 21st birthday. Since you cannot find an eligible bachelor to marry, I have found one for you. Meet your future husband, Junichiro"
I reeled back in shock. I was to marry this poor man? I very rarely even associated with the poor. I sighed, knowing that I'd never be able to change Father's mind now that he's decided. I nodded and asked for the marriage papers, preceding to sign them since I would have to wed Masaomi. Why couldn't I just marry a famous man? Father's word is his word, however, so I had to marry Masaomi, whether I liked it or not.
