The young girl stumbled on her dress as she ran towards one of the slowly-closing portals, pulling the boy with her. Her pure white hair was in neat bun and her green eyes were filled with determination as she ran in her simple white gown with silver gems embroidered into the bodice. The boy was dressed in a messy pair of jeans and dirty white shirt that seemed to have not been washed in years. He had raven black hair and blue eyes that showed no emotion as he let the girl pull him through the portal. As they stumbled onto the other side of the portal, the boy had sprinted from the girl towards a beautiful woman, immediately flirting with him. Betrayal boiled in the girl's heart, but she quickly ran down the busy street, avoiding cars and people as she made her way towards the edge of the city.
Just as she was about to enter the woods, someone shouted out to her. "Hey! Girl in the white gown!"
She turned around to see a woman that looked to be thirty-five or so walking towards her with her children and man a bit older than her. She started to panic, not sure of what to do since she was so new to this world and new so little of their economy.
"Y-y-yes?" She asked nervously, still slowly making her way towards the forest.
"What are you running from, dear? You seem so panicked," The woman said.
"I-I... I have an abusive family and I just escaped them. I am afraid they will find me," She answered quickly, looking behind them for any sign of her parents.
The woman exchanged glanced with the man. "Would you like to come with us?"
She froze. "Y-You'll have me? Even with the danger?"
"Of course, dear! No one deserves to be on the run their whole lives! Come with us."
She lets out a relieved sigh. "I will go with you. I'll explain everything to you once we got wherever you live." She paused. "I mean no harm, just know that."
And so, the family took her to their home out in the plains, into their tall, strange house, and sat on their couch waiting for her story.
She smiled slightly as she saw the dishes that were doing themselves and the knitting needles knitting silently in a recliner. She turned to the family of a serious look covered her face. "It is best if only adults knew of this." Hesitantly, the children were shooed away to their rooms. "Now, since I see you bear magic, this won't bad as hard on you"-their eyes widen as they realize they forgot about the wizarding rule and showed her magic-"since I also have magic."-they sigh in relief at this-"I am Princess Sky Nightshade of the Tartaria realm. My parents are very abusive towards me and their kingdom and so I ran away."
The woman gasped. "You-You're a princess?!"
She nodded. "Yes. But you don't have to call me princess or anything. Just call me Sky. I am no princess here." She studied their faces. "Now that you know me, who are you?"
"Oh! I am Arthur Weasley, and this is my wife, Molly!"
