I glance at my clock. 7:45. I quickly pull on a large white hoodie over my black tank top and put on a pair of ripped jeans. I quickly tie my purple streaked brown hair into a messy bun, grab my backpack and keys, and exit my house. 

"HAVE A GOOD DAY YUKI!" my younger brother, Akira, screams from the kitchen window. I wave goodbye and sprint down the sidewalk, towards my first day of high school.

As I approach Clover High, I slow down and take in my surroundings. Lively green bushes, dark, glossy trees and bees swarming the vivid flowers. I see all the other teenagers chatting politely with each other, holding their binders and textbooks. I shift nervously and step forward. 

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. You can do this, Yuki. I try to approach a group of friendly-ish looking people and open my mouth to speak, but before I can say anything, a bell shrieks five times.

OH DANG IT, I think, glancing down at my watch. HOW THE HECK IS IT 8:00 ALREADY?!? Everyone turns away and heads into the main building through the double doors at the front. I push a strand of loose hair out of my flushed face and follow to back of the crowd.

I nod thanks to a girl with blond hair with blue tips as she holds the heavy door open for me as I pass by. She smiles back and follows in behind me.

I look down at my Converses and blush slightly, then look up. I drop my books in shock, my violet eyes widening. oh. my. freaking. god.
