For as long as humans can remember, a beloved skin disease plagued humankind. Marking their host with what looks like an ink splotch, scientists nicknamed the disease 'Inkage'. Those who have been victimized are able to manipulate the mutations they were given, typically harnessing the most common abilities; fire, water, toxic gas, explosion, creation and destruction.

As of recently, many careless humans have fallen victim to what citizens nicknamed 'Ink-depravity'. A serious case where the host is completely infected, turning them violent and recalcitrant.

There has been a spike of Ink-depravity cases and the SIDT (Spectra Inkage Defense Team) plan to put those cases to sleep.
