It was cold, the rain fell down in ever smashing beats, and with an intensity John had never felt before in his life. It chilled him to his bones and added even more to his disorientation, the sounds of sirens blaring drew his attention, some of it coming from the cars he could see approaching in the distance, and the other from overturned ambulance in front of him. His ears were ringing and his vision seemed to be swimming all-over the place, he couldn’t find his focus as he moved ever closer to the railing he was able to notice.
He tried grabbing it, but seeing two things at the same time made him miscalculate as his fingers missed and he banged his head against said railing. The ringing grew louder, though the blinking of his eyes helped his push away the residue of rain water that was stuck to it. But even then with the rain still falling, his eyes were filled with water once more. He leaned down on all fours as he tried to catch his breath, he raised his head to see a rather peculiar cat-dog like creature staring at him, maybe it was because of how disoriented he was, but he could swear the animal was talking, but what was it saying? How could it be talking, and where the hell was he? As if to answer his question there was a flash of light and his vision went blank for a second, but it was second that lasted a lifetime.

EARTH!
It was raining…..again, but then again that was to be expected; it was May and by this point they were well into the rainy season. John liked the rain, he felt it was symbolic, that it was good and that in one way or another it could cleanse, wash away the dirt and grime of life and leave you new, better, changed…......It was too bad his twin brother didn’t share such a sentiment.
“See, if you touch me again I’m going to beat the shit out of you! What part of stay the fuck out of business don’t you understand!” James's remarks were scathing and rude as usual, his ripped black jeans and yellow best and jacket gave him just the right edge and vibe to let everyone know that they were looking at the hardest boy on campus, but those colors happily denoted him as a never of the Black Axe cult, dangerous and deadly in all his ways.
“You have to put an end to this James! This fraternity you’re a part of has gone insane! People are dying, innocent people! You guys started a full blown war and lives have been lost, please you could die, I’m begging you to think of our parents, they’ll be ashamed!.......”
*PA!*
Hot fury burned within the deepest recess of John’s heart, the anger and fury in his face was enough that it gave even James pause as he thought back on his rather brash action. In all their nineteen years of life as twin brothers, apart from little fights as kids, this was the first time he ever laid hand on his elder twin, but nestled within those gaze, the emotion that truly gave James pause was not the look of anger, it was the look of hurt and disappointment. The teary gaze with which his brother used to look at him, and in that case James knew he lost him, John was done being his shield and trying to save his soul, it was………
*Bang!* bang!* *BANG!*
Three bullets, two of which found purchase in John’s back, while the third went through the side of his neck, a simple graze to most, but when a carotid artery comes into play, a fatal wound. James didn’t even stop to think of hesitate as he jumped over the railing of the second floor, landing got rain softened ground below as he too opened fire at his assaulters. John on the other hand swayed, dizziness clouding his mind as he fell over the railing to land heavily on the roof a Range Rover SUV. It took every smidge of breath and strength left in his body as he hung there, blood pooling around his body and dripping over the roof of the car, and with fading eyes he could do nothing but watch as his brother gunned down three innocent students and two other students from the rival cult.
John shifted his gaze to the sky, the rain softer than the usual as if now fell in soft rivulets and drizzles, but this rain was different. It didn’t seem all too happy to witness such a terrible scene, or maybe it was just in his mind and the rain didn’t care, because in the end it still did exactly what John felt made it so beautiful………it cleansed and washed away all in it’s path, and this time it was John’s life that glowed away.

John couldn’t help but disgorge everything that was held within his stomach, it tasted very muck like death and bile as he tried to get and move away from the pile of his own mess on the floor. He looked up still disoriented at the group of soldiers that were now lined up in front of him, the only weird thing was the fact that they were wielding cold weapons, specifically weird tribal looking Spears. But that didn’t end there, the giant gorillas behind them seemed to add even more a weird and dangerous vibe to them, John was even more confused and the ringing in his ears were getting worse.
He raised an arm towards them, hoping in some way that they were here to help him, but one of the soldiers; a female stepped forwards and opened her mouth, releasing a fearsome screech that blasted a very shocked John off his feet and over the railing of what was most definitely a dam, and following right behind him was the cat-dog he had seen, which quickly faded into a beam of light that burrowed into his chest, but in all of that, John couldn’t help but asked himself.
