In a small province in Zamboanga Del Sur, Philippines.

There are trees with fruits and plants with vegetables in a farmland with vast rice fields. The sound of birds singing with the cool breeze, and the sky that is as blue as the sea. Everyone would adore and appreciate the ideal setting of this scenery.

"Good Morning!!!”

A voice resounds throughout the entire hut.

“Good Morning, Mother! Good Morning, Father!” The voice belongs to a young lady, who is saying good morning to her parents.

"My beloved daughter, you are so vibrant!” the mother answered, as her face beaming with great love as she smiled at her daughter.

The father responded to her cherished daughter's greetings by saying, "Good morning, our sunshine".

The young lady smiled as her face is coated with joy.

“Take up your breakfast Lily, before you take bath, okay?” the mother said, as she reminded her daughter about this matter.

The daughter replied, “Yes Mama, I will.” as she then takes her sit and joins her parent for a breakfast meal.

“How’s your entrance exam yesterday, Lily?” the father questioned, as he took a sip of his cup of coffee.

The young lady smiled, “It was fantastic father! I did my best!” with confidence she replied.

“With the tone of your speech, it seems like you are very confident,” The mother said as she looked towards her daughter.

The father smiled, “Lily is a bright and intelligent child, I know she can make it and will pass the exam.” With proudness in his tone of voice, he said.

“I know, I know that our daughter is a gifted one.” The mother then replied and smiled.

“Do not worry Mama, even if I am confident, I did not take the exam lightly. I took it with my time and dealt with it with everything I got.” The young lady whose name is Lily then said these words towards her mother.

The mother then nods her head, “Alright then, that is good. Let’s pray that you will pass the exam,” the mother said.

“She will, Lily will, my beloved.” The father then spoke as he held the hand of her wife.

The small family shared this moment with great happiness and joy inside their small hut house on a great farmland of their own.

N: Lily Martinez, an eighteen years old young lady who just graduated from senior high school. Is the main protagonist of the Story. She is a top student since kindergarten. Graduated First Honor in the Elementary, and graduated Valedictorian in both junior high school and senior high school. Even if their family is just simple living, she managed to continue her study because of some scholarship that was offered to her. And now that she took an exam for college, she needs to pass it for her to be able to take a course and be part of the scholarship program in the university where she took the exam.

“You have already done taking a bath daughter?” the mother of Lily asked the moment she saw her daughter goes out of the bathroom.

Lily smiled, “Yes Mama, I am done already,” she replied.

“So, are you going with your auntie?” the mother then asked while she was carrying some laundry.

“Yes Mama, Auntie Victoria has something to tell me.” Lily then replied to what her mother asked her.

“Then you better be safe and pack up your things already.” The mother of Lily then said as she reminded Lily about this matter.

Lily then smiled as she walked towards her room, “Yes Mama! Thank you for the reminders.” Lily replied as she entered her room.

Lily came out of her room after a while and immediately went towards where her mother was.

“I will be going already Mama!” Lily said while she was approaching her mother at the back of their house, where her mother is washing some of their clothes.

The mother of Lily stood up from sitting and then hugged her daughter, “Be safe sunshine, and when you have already arrived there, please inform us. Call me, alright? So, your father and I won’t worry about you. Remember, you are our only sunshine. Okay?” the mother said as she reminded her daughter about the matter.

Lily looked at her mother and smiled, after she hugged her mother. “Yes Mama, I will. Do not worry Mama. I love you!” Lily said as she replied to what her mother said. With joy and care in her tone of voice, Lily answered the questions and reminders of her mother with assurance.

“I love you, sunshine. Be safe.” The mother then replied as she also said her love towards her daughter.

“Alright, go now. Your father is already waiting for you.” The mother of Lily then added up as she tapped and squeezed gently the cheeks of her daughter.

Lily then walks slowly as she leaves her mother, “Bye bye Mama! See you when I come home!” Lily joyfully and happily said these words to her mother.

The mother of Lily waves her byes towards her daughter with a smile in her face.

The father of Lily is waiting on his motorcycle as she watches her daughter approaching towards him.

“Are you ready, daughter?” said by the father the moment Lily had already reached her father’s position.

Lily smiled, “Yes father. "I am a hundred percent ready!” Lily joyfully said as she replied to her father.

“You are always lively sunshine. Hahaha.” The father of Lily said and laughed cutely, “And your smile perfectly fits you. You are such a beautiful daughter.” The father of Lily added up as he said these words with happiness in his face as he is smiling joyfully towards her daughter.

Lily smiled, “Because I am your daughter! I am beautiful because my father is handsome!” Lily said as she replied with a bit of joked tone of voice.

The father of Lily smiled and laughed a bit after what his daughter said, “Hahaha. Do not let your mother hear what you said.” The father of Lily then said jokingly.

Lily and her father then laugh together.

The father of Lily then grabbed a spare helmet and immediately wore it on Lily’s head. “Thank you, father.” Lily then said as she appreciated the thing her father did. “Alright daughter, let’s go!” the father of Lily then said with a smiling face as he started the motorcycle.

“Be safe Andres! Be safe Lily! Bye bye! Take care!” the mother of Lily shouted these words from a distance as she watched her husband Andres and her daughter Lily leave.

“Bye bye my beloved Marikit! Yes, we will!” Andres, who is the father of Lily then replied to what his wife Marikit shouted. “Bye bye Mama! You too! Take care!” Lily then replied as she waved towards her mother.

Lily is currently being driven by her father on a motorcycle as she makes her way to the bus terminal.

She has lovely brown eyes, a lovely nose, and adorable lips. She has a lovely body figure. Yet she is really a very simple looking, attractive young lady.

Andres Martinez, Lily's father, cultivates a tiny plot of land on which they have a farm. He is a fifty-year-old man who stands at five feet ten inches tall and adores his family. While Marikit Martinez, Lily's mother, is a five-foot-five, fifty-year-old housewife who works incredibly hard and is devoted to making her family feel loved and happy.

Andres and his daughter Lily arrived at the bus terminal.

Andres is carrying the bag of his daughter Lily, “Be safe daughter, update us, okay? Take care.” Andres then said as he hugged her daughter Lily.

“Thank you, father. Yes, I will, father.” Lily then replied as she looked at her father after they hugged each other. “You too father, be safe going back home.” Lily then said as she is now going in towards the bus.

Andres then waves his byes towards his daughter Lily, as Lily did the same thing towards her father.
