Neagil is forced to flee her home nation of Isten after the events of a great cataclysm. With the loss of her mother and her people being forced to live in a refugee camp, she walks into a war to find help and find the man who promised to marry her.

Along her journey, she learns of her origins, the origins of humanity, and her connection to the Great Lady of Earth and Sky.

This is a story about destiny having a boy of the humans meet a girl of the Gods. Humankind is faced with a test for survival against the very forces that created them.
