Zeldre stands at the top of the mountain, his eyes locked on the island below as he counts aloud with precise focus. “14,397… 14,398… 14,399…”

As he hits 14,400 seconds, the ground starts to rumble violently. Zeldre’s eyes widen in surprise and urgency. “Rim! Hurry up! The island is changing again!”

Rim, near a cave, hears Zeldre’s shout and grumbles, “Yeah, yeah, I hear you! Just give me a sec!” He’s barely finished when a Lava Serpent emerges from the cave, its scales glowing with molten heat and its hissing echoing off the walls. 

Rim raises an eyebrow and mutters, “Seriously? More of these guys?” With a swift kick, he sends the serpent flying back into the cave with a splash of fiery lava. “Nice try, but I’ve got places to be,” he adds, brushing his hands off as if brushing away a minor annoyance.

The ground shakes more violently, and cracks start to appear, glowing ominously. Rim’s gaze shifts nervously as the earth beneath him becomes unstable. “Great. Just what I needed,” he mutters, sprinting up the mountain as the environment around him shifts rapidly.

Trees burst into flames and crumble to ash, while the sky darkens with swirling smoke. Rim charges forward, his voice rising over the cacophony. “Come on, Zeldre! This is not exactly a walk in the park!”

Zeldre watches from above, frustration tinged with a hint of amusement. “Come on, Rim. Don’t make me come down there.”

Rim leaps over a widening chasm, the ground crumbling away beneath him. “I’m working on it!” he shouts back. “Just don’t expect me to be a miracle worker!” He presses on, his determination unshaken despite the chaos around him.

When Rim finally reaches the top, the heat vanishes abruptly, replaced by an intense, freezing cold. The ground turns icy, and a blizzard begins to rage, whipping snow and ice around and making it difficult to see.

“Are you kidding me?” Rim exclaims, struggling to keep his footing. “First lava, now ice? This island’s got issues.” He glances at Zeldre, who stands calmly amidst the storm. 

Zeldre gives a wry smile. “Frozen Abyss. Watch your step, Rim.” His tone is light, but his eyes remain sharp, scanning the treacherous new environment.
