Hi I'm Lauren the author of this novel. You may already know me from my novel Our complicated love story, You've caught my eye or from another novel. If you don't know me or my novels that's fine too! This novel is just one of my mini novels I have. I'm just glad that you decided to choose to read this novel. All I can say it's that for those that do know me, this past week has been a lot. This marks my third novel I'm lauching this week! Before I explain anything I'd like to mention a disclaimer that's important:
*Despite the idea the cover art gives, this novel is fictional and it is not intended to showcase that bullying is ok. I am by no means trying to bring on some homophobia. As you will notice from the description, one of the main characters is unfortunately being bullied through it is not the main goal nor the main idea of the novel.*
I had to clarify things or else the book cover really might give the wrong impression.
By now you might have realized what my updates day may be. I'll be updating every Saturday onwards. This novel will also made available on Wattpad, as I'm on that site too.
Description: There's only one guy that's out of the closet in the entire school and to no surprise he's bullied by no other than the basketball gang. The issue is that Nick the captain of the basketball team actually has feelings for the guy, Ezra. With the entire basketball gang homophobic, how will Nick get noticed by Ezra for who he is and not the same type of guy of the other members of the gang?
Contains: Homophobia, (homophobic slurs) some mild swearing (as usual) but most of them are censored.
So any mature tagged episodes are only to warn you that it is heavier than usual. Through if you wish to skip those part a recap is in the next episode everytime.
For those that come from my novel You've caught my eye or have read it before, well this novel has a crossover with that ceratin novel in question. For those that didn't, you don't need to read it as this novel is not from the same perspective as You've caught my eye, in fact is has nothing to do about the love story of my main characters Kenton and Leith but it has to do from a chararter mentioned in that novel. So this novel is a stand alone. Some may have mentionned already that the name Nick rings a bell, that it is because he is the ex of Leith! It's crazy to think a character that never appears in the novel, gets their own story. Well surprise I did notheless. I can't say wether or not Leith or Kenton will appear in this novel but don't rule out the possibilty. Ok enough about all this, here are the characters information.
