"So, this is the school, huh?" The young man's gaze was fixed on the impressive white building with its expansive open spaces. He raised his tired eyes to the sky.
Standing outside the school gate was a tall, handsome student. His striking black and blonde dreadlocks were pulled back into a ponytail, with a loose strand falling over his face. The sides of his head were cleanly shaved, and he had three piercings in his left ear. One was in his lobe, featuring a long black cross earring. The other two were scaffold piercings connected by another long earring.
His youthful, handsome face was expressionless, and a pair of thick glasses rested on his nose. His broad shoulders were hidden beneath his black uniform, with the first three buttons of his shirt slightly undone, revealing his beautiful black skin, which glowed in the sunlight, and his strong chest.
He had thick, full blonde eyebrows that exuded strength, and his long, beautiful blonde eyelashes fluttered charmingly. His sharp jawline became more pronounced when he clenched his teeth, indicating he was not looking forward to being at the school.
There he stood, motionless at the school gate.
"Goodness. That old man sure knows how to mess with me."
"He made me wear these thick glasses just to make me look softer." He stepped through the gate. "Do I really look tough and aggressive like a delinquent?" He glanced at himself and flexed his muscles.
He let out a sigh. "Why can't I just study at home?"
Just as he was about to take another step inside, he heard a crack and stopped.
"Hm..." Shiu sensed a strong, piercing gaze coming from the bushes. "Someone's staring at me." He quickly scanned the area.
After a moment, he straightened his backpack. "It doesn't seem like they mean any harm, and I don't feel any hostility coming from them either..." He sighed again and walked into the school.
As soon as Shiu disappeared inside, a tall, strong figure emerged from behind the trees in the bushes. It was a young man wearing the same uniform as Shiu. He was just as tall.
"At last, I get to see you again, Shiu," the young man said, his cold eyes lighting up with pure happiness.
Leaning back against the tree, he crossed his legs. "This time, I must do my best to have you beside me."
Ring, ring, ring. The young man's phone rang from his pocket. He answered the call with a cold tone: "What do you want?"
"Bloody cold as ever. Is that any way to talk to your best friend?" the voice on the other end replied. "Come to think of it, the only time you ever act nice is when my brother is around. You're only kind to him. If only my brother knew what a lunatic you really are."
"Quiet. Why are you calling?"
"Well, how does it feel to see my brother again after such a long time? It's been years since you last saw Shiu, right? Since we were seven."
"I can't believe that after all these years, you still love and care for him as much as you did. You haven't forgotten him for even a second. Wow, for a cold-blooded guy, you're pretty romantic, you know?"
"I'm hanging up."
"Wait..." the voice on the other end said. "Can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"We both know that my brother is very strong. I can tell he is not like me. He takes after our father, after all. He's the second strongest in the clan, even though he's so young. He doesn't follow anyone but Father. He has never fallen in love or had any kind of romance in his life. But he's not stupid; if you give him enough hints, he catches on quickly. He prefers a simple life where he can sleep, eat, and read. So, it's going to be very difficult for you."
"You and I both know the reason why he ran away from home when he was ten."
"If he catches on to your feelings for him and feels overwhelmed, he will really escape your grasp. If that happens, what will you do?"
"...."
There was a long, uncomfortable silence on the line until the young man finally answered the question. "If, for some reason, Shiu decides to leave again," he began, "I will do everything to find him and bring him back to me." A dangerous gleam shone in his eyes as he spoke.
"I don't care if I have to search to the ends of the earth to find him; I will do it. I will do everything in my power to make him fall for me. That has always been my mission since we were kids."
"And if I have to get rid of anyone who stands in my way, I will do that too."
"Anshio," the young man called out to the guy on the other end.
"Yes?"
"Shiu is my life. I have no idea what I would do if I didn't see him. I might really go crazy if that were to happen."
The young man on the phone was silent for a long time.
"Haaaaa, damn. I feel for my brother. He literally has an obsessed man chasing after him, and he doesn't even know it," he said with a laugh. "I remember when we were little, and you used to get all nervous every time Shiu walked by. You would stare at him with that intense, longing look in your eyes. Well, I wish you luck; you will need it. See you, man."
With that, the young man ended the call. He ran his long fingers through his hair, letting out a long sigh. He pressed the phone against his mouth, with a gleam of determination in his eyes.
"This time..."
