Simon is 25 years old, he graduated from college but didn’t have any luck finding work. He started playing online games for a living, he became popular too and was earning a decent amount. His family took this opportunity and started leeching off him. They treated him badly for years but now that he has money their personalities finally changed but nothing lasts forever.

“WHAT!!!! you lost the championship? you useless thing.” his mom rages at him with a disgusted look on her face. 

“Why are you so angry, I am still earning money even if I lost the championship.” he tries to calm her down but it doesn’t work.

“You are such a loser big brother, all you do is stay home playing games, your room stinks and a mess. don’t you have a girlfriend or any friend you can hang out with?” his little sister Emma says in an annoyed tone.

“Who would want to be a loser with someone like him? he is nothing but a nuisance, I can’t believe I gave birth to someone like you.” 

“I see, so that’s how you both think about me, what about you dad?” he asks while looking at his father with eyes asking for help. “ So you will remain quiet as always, fine.” 

He goes upstairs and packs some clothes, he leaves everything else and heads back downstairs, “I am leaving, you can sell the computers and anything you find useful…… so no one is even going to stop me? ok, bye everyone.” He closes the door and walks away, none of his family members came after him. He goes and rents an apartment very far from his house, he buys new gaming gear and continues playing his games that he loves.

“Hey Simon, I heard your family kicked you out of the house, is that true? one of his gaming buddies asked him.

“They didn’t kick me out, I left on my own, I was already planning to leave anyway, I am old enough to live on my own.”

“Oh, cool… btw, did you actually try and ask out Mia?”

“U-uh, where did you hear that?” he nervously responds

“So you did? wow, hahahahahaha, did you actually think a loser like you will have a chance with someone like Mia? know your place, worm, stick to playing games, if i see you around her again i will kill you, understand?”

Simon doesn’t respond, his heart has sunk down to his stomach, he has never felt so betrayed. He switches off the game and goes to bed, he starts crying, this is not the 1st time things have gone bad, it happened many times but this time he finally breaks. He has no friends and the one person he considered somewhat of a friend just turned against him. So now he is alone, “Maybe i should just kill myself, what’s the point of living in this cruel world, yeah, let’s just end it.”

He goes on top of his apartment and stands on the edge, “ah, the night is always beautiful and the sweet breeze makes it truly worthwhile. Should I give life one more chance? how bad can it get anyway." Just as he is busy talking to himself, a green screen pops up in front of his eyes, “W-what the hell is…… huh?” while panicking he accidently slips and falls off, “ah, so this is how it ends, whatever i guess.” 

WARNING, user has obtained powers before [judgment day], user will be sent to a different dimension until judgment day arrives.

“The hell is all this, have I finally lost it? wait, i read about something like this in manhwa, is that what is happening right now?” As he approaches the ground he gets teleported away into a different dimension. 

Dimension X is what the gods call it, it's a place full of monsters and mysterious beings that even the gods can’t handle, it’s a vast dimension that is as big as 15 universes and has gravity 10 times earth’s gravity. 

“Uh, my head hu…” he gets cut off by the gravity, he gets slammed to the ground and starts bleeding from the pressure, “W-what the hell.” he slowly starts dying because he can’t breathe properly. 

“DING, all adjustments have been completed.” 

“Pwuuuuuuuh, huff huff huff, i thought huff i was going to die there huff.” he keeps huffing for minutes while turning his head looking around. “So that notification saying I will be sent to a different dimension is true? holy damn, 1st thing let's look at the screen, uh, i think in manhwa they yell something so the window appears. this is so fucking embarrassing .  [status window]”

“Oh, so it’s like a game but why do i have such shitty stats? Dammit, my life is such a joke.” He stands up and walks around while still looking at his window, “devour? what type of skill is this?” he arrives at a pack of wolves eating another monster, “w-what the hell, those wolves have horns and they are the size of a car.” he panics and makes noise which causes the wolves to hear him, “shit, i am so dead.” 

He runs away without a second thought, the wolves start chasing him at full speed. He sees an entrance to a cave from a far and decides to head there, one of the wolves catches up and slashes him on his head which causes him to fall down. The wolf tries to finish him off but he avoids it, stands up and continues running. He is losing so much blood and he is feeling so much pain but he endures it all because he doesn't want to be eaten alive. He arrives at the cave and runs in, the wolves stop and run away. The cave is bright inside and full of crystals, he walks cautiously because he doesn’t know what might lie in the cave. He spots water and looks around to see if there is any monster around, he doesn’t see any so he runs up to the water and drinks. “Huff, I can't huff, catch a break.”

“Ding, agility has increased by one.”

“Hehe, well, it’s something, ugh, this wound hurts like hell.” he couldn’t do anything about the wound so he just endured it. A small blue slime comes out of the water and bounces towards him, “hm? a slime?, it’s cute.” 

The slime devours him and traps him inside, he quickly holds his breath and tries to get out but it doesn't work. “Guh! dammit, why is something so cute trying to kill me.” he thought to himself. He sees a blue core floating above him, he tries destroying it but it’s too tough. “Shit, I am running out of time.” 

“Ding, core detected, would you like to use devour? YES/NO”

“Guuuh!! y-yes.”

A red mouth made out of darkness appears and eats the core, the slime dies and he falls down hurting his already hurt back. “Argh!!!! fuuuuuuck.” 

“Ding, core consumed, you have earned 5 allocation points” 

“Points, oh, i can add them to my stats, cool, i was really close to dying back there, my hp is at 40, thew.” He slowly falls asleep from the exhaustion.
