Under the Peach Tree
Grace had left his home to get some peace and quiet, wanting only to study his books on magic.
He was seventeen, yes he was male, despite his name. It was thought that he would be a girl before he was born, and he had already been named, and his parents hadn’t changed it. But he didn’t mind.
Grace stood out for more reasons than just his name. He was different because he was born with certain gifts, it was rare, but not unknown. He had met others like himself before, but there weren’t many like him in the world.
Grace had the ability to see the future. However, he had no control over this ability. It happened completely at random.
He did not know when these events would occur. They could be minutes from now, hours or days, or even more.
But they never seemed to be longer than a few weeks.
He experienced one of these visions now, blinking him to all else.
He could not stop it, so just sat back against the tree behind him, widening his eyes to see clearer whatever he would see.
This is what he saw.
It was dark. He was inside some building. A bedroom?
The curtains were shut, but through the gap between them, the moonlight illuminated the room, keeping it from total darkness.
Before him stood another male figure, one he did not know.
The figure smile, reaching towards him and brushing his cheek tenderly.
Grace felt the young man’s fingertips tickle his skin lightly.
The man spoke, but in his vision, Grace did not hear the words clearly. The man was smiling as he spoke.
Grace felt himself then move closer to the man, pushing him back onto the bed.
His heart skipped a beat in his chest.
Grace began to undress the man then, stripping him completely naked, before getting on top of him again, lifting the man’s leg up and resting it on his shoulder.
He began to thrust inside the man. Again and again, his movements forceful.
The man beneath him began to moan, clawing at the bedsheets above him, head thrown back for moments, before looking down, meeting Grace’s gaze.
The man’s eyes were pure red.
Grace’s vision suddenly ended, and he snapped back to himself.
He stared off into the sky.
‘What the hell was that….?’ He asked himself.
