Dear diary. I didn't write my memoirs before because I thought it was unnecessary, but recent events have finally made me pay more attention to who I hang out with. Sitting in prison with the death penalty on my back makes everyone think about their lives and I finally have the purpose I promised myself on my children's graves and that I won't die until I see my last child smile at me and start living. But never mind, let's start from the beginning.

Today started out grimly. In my prison cell I was woken up by a scream and a shot and a moment later the same thing only louder and somehow closer, and then again only even louder. Finally the door handle of my cell started moving and I heard the key turning in the lock. Without thinking much, I opened the gate between worlds and escaped through it. Yes, I know, why stay in prison when you can be free as a bird. But the plan was a bit different, only it clearly didn't work out. To tell the truth, my crew would have ended badly in my cocoons anyway as my food supplies just like my previous crew, only with the difference that here we were caught and imprisoned, for piracy, which was a huge understatement, but silence about that and about that water world that turned into a pile of dust scattered across space and those hundreds of thousands of creatures living on it that died in the blink of an eye. It didn't happen, it was a small accident at work, I just wanted a small DNA sample for my research, it's not my fault that the captain had other plans, if it wasn't for the Empire, I probably would have killed him, and in the end, the only difference is that the Empire will kill him and throw the body in the trash. And I would use it as food for the next few weeks, but the important thing is that he's alive and I have to start taking better care of myself, because if not, next time even the interworld gate might not save me. Anyway. I'm now in a green, mountainous and forested world that reminds me a lot of my old home. There's one sun, one moon, and the sky is blue. I've visited many worlds and seen many different things, but the smell of grass and some plants can't be confused with anything else. There is only one small problem, this world called Earth, in other words, there is an invisible war going on here for the free will of beings called Humans, I know this because my ex-boyfriend was one of these "Demons" or whatever they are called, but it doesn't matter to me, what matters is that he took an active part in this war, only that it was a long time ago. I wonder how he is doing now. And I can't forget about my original family either, it makes me sick when I think about them and what they will do to me if they catch me. To this day I can't forget about all the torture I had to go through when I was younger because of them. But, anyway, here's the plan. I don't want to open the gates of worlds again, because I don't know where it will take me again, and besides, it's tiring, so I'll stay here and hide in the shadows. Tomorrow I'll look for a human city and try to figure out my location, it would be nice if I was somewhere near the volcano Vesuvius. I would visit the graves of my children if they still exist, because if I remember correctly this volcano erupted when I lost my mind from the grief of their deaths. I am currently sitting in a tree, and since the night is approaching, I will spend it here.
