I watched as Ari slowly took off her clothes. This would have been an exciting sight on any other day, but today was not one of those days.

She approached me slowly, having finished undressing. Her eyes had shifted to red now. Just like mine.

I gave her one last hug.

"I'm sorry it has to be this way."

She nodded ever so slightly. She was always like this.

I hesitated for a moment, then manifested my dagger and stabbed at her heart from behind while still embracing her.

1, 2, 3 times. 3 times already, and I still had to keep going.

7, 8 times. Her body was shaking slightly while her circuitry started to dim.

9 times. Her body lost strength and her eyes reverted back to their normal colour. Her circuitry shut off completely. I didn't pull out the dagger this time.

After a moment, I pulled out the dagger. I had no time to waste so I had to be quick.

I rushed out with her body, looking for a secluded place. After finding somewhere suitable, I burned it until nothing remained.

'I'm really sorry, Ari...'

I didn't have much time to cry though, because it was time for my last fight.

"You actually went through with it. I'm quite surprised." A voice said from behind me.

She's finally here.
