Alesus was excited when he heard that his usual mundane summer break that consisted of going to camp or following his father at work would change.

His hopes however are thwarted when he finds out that he’s unable to join his parents on their trip and would be staying with his
his estranged aunt and uncle. Having barely known them and never met his cousins, Alesus is caught off guard by the warm reception he receives upon arriving at their imposing, Victorian mansion.

Expecting to feel the awkwardness of family tension, he is instead treated warmly with the kind and inviting smiles of his uncle. Things seem to be going well until he begins to discover eerie, cryptic messages hidden throughout the mansion’s dark corners: strange writings on doors, cryptic notes in books, and the unsettling journal of a long-dead family member. As he unravels the mystery, Alesus quickly realizes that the mansion as well as his family holds far more secrets than he could have ever imagined.

When his Uncle Simeon announces the annual dinner party, Alesus hopes for a peaceful evening. Instead, the night spirals into terror as guests begin to vanish, and Alesus is drawn into a deadly web of murder and deceit. With danger closing in from all sides, Alesus must navigate family betrayals, dark secrets, and the looming threat of an ancient curse.

Will Alesus make it out alive, or will he become just another lost soul trapped in the haunted legacy of the Worheves family?
