New comic launched!
Two years after completing BSandL, I'm excited to share my new work with you: In Suitable Conditions (or Suotuisissa oloissa in Finnish). You can now read Chapter 1 here on Tapas!
After dropping out of university, Lissa is becoming a shut-in until her roommate makes her find a job. Cleaning a kindergarten is not exactly what Lissa imagined herself doing, but fortunately she doesn’t have to talk to anyone!
Right... Not only does she have to get more involved in her working environment than she’d like to, a teacher there thinks he can just “pull her out of her shell”. With his help, will she become a social virtuoso? Does she want to? What does she want, really?

“What if an alien from another planet would move in with you? What if your ex lover was a mouth attached to the side of your face? What if your boyfriend, who’s a ghost, was married to a demon, who’s also your girlfriend, and they have a gay son and a pet dinosaur? What if you’re from Seinäjoki? Sounds unlikely, but all of these comics fall into the romance genre. Join our four panelists in discussing how they use romance in their comics and what tropes they want to avoid.
Moderated by Estonian cartoonist and teacher Anni Hõ.
