Soooooooo.... sorry about the long unannounced hiatus. Classes added to the usual stress and so for the last month I've spent my weekends totally melting down and playing Europa Universalis 4 to bury it. (Hence the reference to the Ottoman Empire.) The good thing is I've been very productive during my class time, I just haven't been making cartoons.
If you've followed this strip for any amount of time at this point you're probably aware of these stress cycles. I'm sorry I'm not more disciplined in my creative habits, though to be honest the periods of low productivity are in their own ways helpful at times. The good news is I'll be on a productive upswing for the next several months.
