The one dressed as a cowgirl asks the one dressed as a pirate, “…Who’s ‘Sam Hain,’ and why is he happy?” They just visited a house that has a pentacle wreath and a doormat saying “merry meet.” It’s implied that they just trick-or-treated at the home of a neophyte Wiccan whose enthusiasm for their religion, while laudable, exceeds their tendency to find the correct pronunciation for things like “happy samhain.”
