Panel 1:
Someone off-panel asks, “If you could be any animal, what would you want to be?”
An average person’s response: “Oh, I dunno… um, otters are kinda cute, but… maybe a monkey? Oh, I dunno, I don’t really care…” They’re answering languidly, propping up their chin. They can barely rouse themself for a question that seems so boring, meaningless, and irrelevant to them.
Panel 2:
Someone off-panel asks, “If you could be any animal, what would you–”
A therian’s response, interrupting: “COUGAR!” They’re jumping up out of their chair with excitement. They can’t believe someone just asked them their favorite question in the world.
