Oh man, I haven’t been on this wall in ages. Reading mostly in the app nowadays and you don’t have access to the wall there. Kinda miss it though. Is anybody still around? There were some good times here.

Hello! Im sorry to bother you but do you perhaps know what happened to double thick custard? He hadpostef a journal on deviantart but the page now has an error. They havent been on any social media for years. Im worried and i dont even know what happened in the journal
Hi, I am sorry for getting back to you only now. I read mostly in the app these days and that thing doesn’t not give any notification about wall activity. Unfortunately I cannot give you any information about dtc. The post he was referring to is already old and outdated. It was about health care issues that were financially urgent so he needed to take a break from free comics and focus on commissions and Patreon. But after a year or so later he really disappeared from all his social media, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Deviantart, even Patreon, with no replies or messages. There are more then 2 years since then and I am still in the dark about it. I wish I could tell you. I wish I knew myself as this worries me so. But there is nothing to tell.
its ok! i occasionally get really worried abt them to be honest. i searched far and wide and they simply dissappeared and i fear for the worst. especially when they were still answering asks in tumblr and posting.

Thank you. You are too kind. I don't really think there is much future for me here though. I am in fact ( or suppose to be) a professional sculptor so I am as far from digital illustration as I can be, ha ha. Got interested in making an art book for children back home though and wanted to see if I can navigate those waters. I felt like a blind man trying to find his way through a maze of layers, effects, and what not. Don't laugh, it was terrifying :-). I'll say it again you guys are magicians.
Haha, your reply made me smile. But wow, a sculptor? That's awesome! Never met a sculptor here on Tapastic! :) But I can see you have a sense for dept, lightning and composition. So if you enjoy drawing... just keep at it. We all started out like a blind man ;) ....But how cool would it be to create a sculpted comic! :)
Sculpted comic hm, well you never know. I might be able to do it faster then digital haha. You can see the sculptor side of me even in the above illustration if you strip away all the effects. I'll drop you an image in a pm with just the black lines for lava flow to see what I mean. Glad that I made you smile and keep on the great work. I am excited for more of Maggie.
