Hey all. It's been a while hasn't it? FINALLY found some time to sit and write this down, so here goes.
I'm sure some of you wonder what happened and why the comic stopped for over a year. I don't want to go much into detail because it's personal matters, but let me just say that my financial security got compromised and there are no openings for jobs in my area that I'm competent at. So basically I became a handyman/blue collar worker doing manual labour from 8 to 6. Between that, university and other household duties, I didn't have much time or energy to do much and unfortunately had to put a lot of things on hold - the comic being one of them. I know the limits of my capabilities and can safely admit, I'm not the best artist around. :(
Long story short, things are still challenging, but have gotten better enough for me to get back to drawing and I'm trying to get the comic back on schedule. I also have some other things on the drawing board, but more on that later. orz
Other than that, I've recently dusted off my twitter account and started posting drawings there - https://twitter.com/kyddstatic/ - most of the stuff I throw on there is related to the comic and the world I'm trying to create so feel free to give it a look if you can't get enough foxgirls. orz
I'm sorry for disappearing without a word. Life got the better part out of me in the last year and I'm only starting to recover. To all of you who stuck around waiting for the comic to return and those who subscribed while I was away - thank you. I hope to be less disappointing in the coming months.

Thank you for the explanation- but also please know that these comics, while I love them, always come second priority to your life. It's wonderful to have you back, but any hiatuses you want to take you have full rights to- your fans will still be here whenever you come back <3 Glad to see things are looking up for you.

Hey, how are you doing? Just wanted to check to make sure your personal life is going alright, comic updates aside i'm sure lots of people care about your well being outside school, work, and whatever else you might be up to nowadays. Here's to hoping you're feeling fine!

The real reason there have been no updates to Life is Peachy, is that Kydd has been dealing with a lot of real life issues that take priority over drawing the comic. He is currently making steps toward starting to draw it again, but it will still be a little while before it continues. As a close friend, and sometimes co-writer of Life is Peachy, I'd like to thank you on Kydd's behalf. I've passed on your message, and alerted him to the misinformation being spread on his page.

Hey, sorry for the super late reply. Just a lot of life stuff happened. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.

how is everyone? Doing alright, I like to imagine.
I'm sorry for the recent pause in the comic. All things willing, it'll be returning next week.
Real talk. The reason for the lull is multifold - last month I was busy with my college exams, now I'm finishing some long overdue commissions. However the biggest issue are some personal matters that I'm not really comfortable sharing online. They led to a lot of pressure that were causing me frequent panic attacks and high anxiety, felt like I'm hitting a wall on a lot of things. Take one particularly heavy exam subject (basics of law - constitutional, European and a couple others) - been mulling for over a week over the notes, stuff wasn't getting through to me and I was worried sick i'll have to take a repeat. In the end I passed on first attempt but it didn't give me any peace of mind.
In any case - I made the executive decision that I couldn't bring myself to until now and booked a psychiatrist appointment because I feel there's obviously something wrong with me. Long story short, I'm not proud of it but I was diagnosed with depression and I'm now in the second week of treatment. Starting to feel the effects of it, I'm able to focus on my work much better now.
I'm sorry I didn't mention anything sooner, had to get my head clear first. Got some catching up to do - that and the comics will be coming soon. Until then, stay safe, be excellent to eachother and thank you all for your support!

Is good to know that you are on treatment, the depression is a serius thing, hope you feel better at your own time and also wich you a looooot of good luck with the school :)
I'm glad you're getting help! Don't worry about your comic- we can all wait. Take as long as you need, and good luck with your treatment and education!

Hey all! First of, I'm just getting started on the next strip - unfortunately a thing came up at university last Sunday. We've been given a week to go through an online course and I've been at it with breaks only to eat and sleep for the last 4 days. Sorry for the delay! >_<

Hey man, sorry for the late reply! Yeah, things are a bit bleh right now but I'm not gonna let that stop me. I'm getting a full refund on my faulty graphics monitor so there's that at least!
