Why the Frizz?

Hello, so usually my hair is really nice and wavy...except when I have to go to a social gathering. And being the lazy ass that I am, I hate straightening or blow drying them.
Does this happen to you guys too? And if it does, how do you deal with it, do you try to fix it or just give up like me? Let me know in the comments below
