Holiday Collab is back for 2016!
Over 50 artists participated this year, bring to the Tapastic community holiday cheer the only way we know how, through hard work and comics. ^_^
Follow this hub series to stay informed of what series are posting each day, and be sure to follow the links back to their series to show the artists some love and fall in love with their series. ♥ So much love! ♥
This year's theme centers around the Tapastic mascot as they traverse the many webcomic series collecting holiday cards to deliver. What stories will unfold behind each card? What obstacles will be face?!?

Today's finale postcard has been posted up on Lira's series Rosette, the Dragonet, however you can still catch all 54 postcards and get all the warmth and holiday feelz ♥
Today is also the last day community submissions are open. If you'd like to join in, check out the forum thread linked below and submit 'em if you got 'em. XD

We've received an overwhelming amount of submissions so far, 27 community collab episodes! WHOA!
There's so many that we're going to stagger the release of these awesome comics, so we don't melt your face off with the mega update bomb to the series. From Dec 26th to Dec 31st, we'll release 5 community episodes a day and end it at New Years eve!
Thank you so much for following this year's event and showing our participating artists so much love and appreciation. It's only with their hard work and your participation that make these collab events so special.

i have a question, why it's separated on the community and the postcards?
@DKTC - You mean how they are labelled Collabs from the Community and not postcards?
It because that's what they are. ^_^ I sorta came up with the label on the fly, however they're the collabs comics from the open submission in the forums for community members to collab together and join in if they wanted to.
And the main group of artists that posted earlier this month, spent since August working together to make their episodes, helping with deciding and organizing the event, and played bigger roles in the collab itself. And all their episodes are tied together with that postcard theme that wraps up in the finale episode.

I still need to see the movie for myself. Anything with a gryphon/hippogriff in the movie poster has to be awesome. ;D
@Nox- Hm, perhaps you're right that 2k would be a better milestone, however, I worry with the limited time frame till the end of the collab that we maintain the hype train through the whole event. Looks like maybe we might reach 1.5K in the next three days or so.

This year's theme is holiday postcards, all holidays are appreciated. It can be a holiday unique to your comic series or a holiday you celebrate in real life. You can have your comic characters writing a holiday postcard to a friend's comic series, or it can be a meaningful postcard pertaining to events unfolding in your series, or it can be fun and meta with a strip about the comic creator writing a card to their readers. Anything goes! If you're having fun with it, you're doing it right.
Things to include to make it consistent with the event:
- a full shot of your postcard
- the Tapastic Mascot collecting it at the end
- a line at the end recommending readers try a series you think deserves some more attention
