I've been working on different projects forever but was held back from beginning to illustrate them by the belief in the simple fact that my skills were sub-par. However, I decided it was now or never.
'Don't Call Me Sweetie' never began as a series. It was a little one-shot that I made for my digital design class in college that want by the name, The Biological Clock. It wasn't till a while later that I realized that I could make it into a little episodic drama. Months have passed since that point and I'm finally making myself sit down and do it.
I'm still very insecure about my abilities but I'm able to get past that mental block for this series because it doesn't need to be perfect. Honestly, I see it more as an illustrated diary that I'm willing to share with the world. Full of imperfections, just like life and just like the subject matter.
