Okay, team - I have thought about this for a while and I now have an update for you.
Recently my relationship with Basil Blunt has gotten pretty negative and mentally unhealthy, so I've decided to take a break from regular releases until the 8th of October.
I'm still going to be working on it, but gently rather than the 5-8 hours a day that I'm used to, and I'm going to be working on other stories and projects (which I will continue to post updates and pictures of here).
So Sam, Charlotte, Faye and the Basil crew will see you again soon, and until then, you get to enjoy my wonky drawings of every single thing I can lay my hands on.

Hope you're feeling okay - I was working on a horror comic once but i felt way too bad about what i was doing to the characters - never finished it haha. It is interesting the relationships we form with the narratives and characters we create, they may be fictional but can have a great impact on our psyches. Happy comic making to you!
Thanks, you're very kind :) I'm okay, I've just got a bit of mental homework to do and some mental associations to break. It is interesting! I've found that the things affecting me now are changing my drawing style (it's even changed my handwriting!) Thanks so much for the good vibes - hope your comic making is (and continues) to be happy and healthy too :)

Hello everyone! Many apologies but due to life things I've been having to spend my time finding a new place to live rather than working on Basil, so this week's update will be posted this coming Wednesday instead. I'm really excited to share this chapter with you! I'm liking it a lot.

I'll be at table 13, which is in the Comic Book Supastar section (page 32 for the map) and I'll also be part of a panel with Sarah Searle and Alisha Jade on Saturday from 2.30 - 3.30 (Comics in the Digital Realm). Chapter 5 of Basil Blunt will be out this Sunday, but I'll have prints of it (and all of the other chapters) for sale this weekend so if you come down to the Perth Convention Centre, you'll be able to read it early :)
Also, here are some character sketches for Chapter 10, which I'm very excited to draw and very excited for you to read.
