I am very proud to show you chapter 3 of Adventure Finders. The Village of Orphans is one of the things I wanted to see when I first drew this series. I know it's a lot of people Clari seems to be mixing with. This is based on real life experiences here in Asia. Mecomi is now the third Asian character in this series from Clariette's Dad and Kyusan. And no, none of them know kung fu! :) So I am happy to bust certain stereotypes. This is a world with a lot of friends so we will have lots of this in the future.

Today, I sent up a new page ahead of friday for I will be traveling! Hope y'all enjoy the series so far! It's been fun and I still have a LOT of pages to go. I am nearly done with chapter 5, that's how far in advance the Patreon issues are compared to the webcomic versions. Enjoy as chapter 2 winds down and they approach a safe spot in their travels.
My apologies for the sporadic posts this new year. WE certainly have been going through a lot just the first few days of this month. the life of a freelance artist is chaos! But with these new posts, I hope to get back on track. Thanks for reading! We have plenty of pages in store for you. I actually make more pages than I have to post. Clariette actually freezes. And the mean dude surprisingly saves her bacon. :)
I always thought that Clari's first battle should be a confusing mess. She freezes, doesn't know what to do... and her first encounter with an orc results in something funny. This is something I just put in last minute as a break from the serious action unfolding. I hope it is a good character moment that shows her personality.
So far, we have first level adventurer Clari who has met a similar soul in the form of Ariarra, the newcomer cleric in her hometown. Easy going Jolfe, who is Clari's cousin from her Dad's side, joins the group along with her Cousin Deren Mumbasi from her Mom's side. Why all the relatives? I am writing from what I know. In many stories, most protagonists begin as friends and this opens up possibilities for romance later on. But we are not telling a regular story. Some of us have close relatives we grew up with --and our cousins and siblings are often our very first best friends in life. So I am writing from that perspective. This is someone with a close knit family and I want it to show. The way things are slowly developing, there will be chances to meet and make friends later on. for now, enjoy! Of course, I wasn't just spending months finding it. I got busy with work so only occasionally do I return to my "wall quest". So yah, I found it now! Sheesh...
