Javier Bolado was born in Spain in 1980. He became a comic artist at 17, publishing with Berserker Ed. His series Evan SD (a N.G. Evangelion parody) and 2Sides!! (a collaboration with Ken Niimura) became fast hits with young audiences.
Between 1998-2006 he has worked as chief editor and journalist for several comic and videogame magazines (Manga Zone, Ready!, X-Manga).
He has ample experience working for the international market, illustrating Japanese in Mangaland series, Ragnarok Online Guest-art book, collaborating with ImaginaryFriends Studio and as video game artist (Anima GS)
He has also published a series of novels titled The Dark Princess´ Song (La Canción de la Princesa Oscura)
