Gustavo Ravaglio has a degree in Industrial Design (Product Design) from PUCPR (Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná - Brazil), a graduate degree in Cultural Anthropology, also from PUCPR, and a Master’s degree on Anthropology from UFPR (Federal University of Parana – Brazil). He’s a designer, illustrator, writer, anthropologist, and professor on the undergraduate and
graduate courses on Design on PUCPR. He also owns a design studio.
Up to now he has published four books. Os Contos do Planta nº1 was published in 2015, featuring the pilot for Plant’s adventures. The book generated some buzz due to being the first in the Brazilian book market to feature a fully animated, three-dimensional cover. It
even earned praises from David Lloyd, the illustrator for V for Vendetta, who was present at the book launch.
