I'm a normal boy. A very normal boy. About one-hundred-forty-five pounds, 14 years, some friends, and a crush. I have gotten to know my crush, her name is Rose, has dirty-blonde hair, likes to swim, all the basic facts. We're friends now, too. We were sitting next to each other on the bus, talking about random things like how the living heck did people create weapons to devastate other people. Only then did we hear a scream, from the kids on the front of the bus.
"Be right back, Rose." I say, as I grasp the chair, jump over her legs, and run to the front of the bus to investigate what is going on. Then I see the source of fear. Zombies. Out of nowhere.
This is going to be one of the worst days of my life. I would normally worry about my parents, but I don't need to, as they are dead. Just an everyday babysitter, usually changes every month or two. They all are good. I have a computer. But that isn't important anymore. What's important now, are the lives of me, and my friend Rose.
Shut up.
I run back. "Zombies, I think. It might be a prank, but I don't recommend leaving the bus for now. Let's just stay here, ok?"
"If you say so," She says. "What did they look like?"
"Missing eyes, dangling eyes almost completely separated from the body, blood, gaping holes in the body, things you would think a zombie would have."
"Your surprisingly calm."
"You should hear my heartbeat."
We both laugh at that one. "But seriously, what do we do now?"
"Your house or my house?" She said.
"Whichever one you want."
"Then your house. I don't really like my parents all that much."
"Alright. Follow me!" You say.
You run to the front of the bus with rose, and literally, cool-boy style, freaking kick the door open, and run out.
"You behind me?" You yell.
"Yeah, Draco."
I forgot to introduce myself. Sorry. My name is Draco Lucius Zenith. I know, the name is a bit of a mouthful, but its worth it. A crap ton of people compliment me for my name. I love it.
Rose complimented me as well, and that was the time when the school suddenly raised to be about 115 degrees, Fahrenheit. I almost immediately took off my jacket, and said, "Thanks!"
Anyway, back to the story.
Rose and I were running course to my house, with, like, probably fifteen zombies chasing us. There's no stopping now. We need to get there, lock the doors, kick out the babysitter, and set up shop there. Once we wait through the apocalypse for a bit of time, we can raid stores, as no one will be in there to tell us to purchase the items we selected. I decide to wait until we get to the house to tell her. But you tell her the plans when we get inside.
"Hey Rose?" I ask to her.
"Yeah?"
"When we get to my house, we should get inside, set up shop, and kick out the babysitter. Got it?"
"Sounds like a good plan. What do we do after?"
"Let's wait until we get inside and are safe, ok?"
"Got it."
We continue running, and suddenly, a zombie appears in front of me. I instinctively punch it hard in the face, and it messes it up pretty badly. But it's undead, so it'll get back up soon. 2 minutes, tops. I continue running.
Once we reach the house, I shove the door open. "Wait here." You whisper. "Hey Aaron! I have something to show you!"
"What is it?" He says.
"Follow me!"
He comes out. "Why is rose here?"
"No time for questions! Look!" He goes outside. "I don't see anythi-"
I slam the door and lock it. Rose and I run to my room. "That was priceless!" Rose says to me. "I almost wish we could do that again!"
"We probably shouldn't though." I say. "Lets just hang out. How about some Mario Kart 8?"
"Sure!" She says.
