This is why I decided to take a short hiatus from graphic design to pursue my latest creative challenge: storytelling.
My first foray into storytelling is a graphic novel called QUADRANT 75. This fictional story is about a top-secret mission to MARS, in 1966, that NASA and the U.S. government hid from the public. The astronaut selected for QUADRANT 75 was Lisa Summerhill. She was an unknown test pilot who was hand-picked by the Department of Strategic Affairs to carry out the mission. Two months after Lisa left Earth to Mars, she was pronounced dead by the U.S. government.
This is her untold story.
