My passion lies within my multicrossover-fanfic epos that's been embedded in my brain like worms and has been there ever since I was 12. I doubt that'll ever change lol

I was planning to post some more happy news, especially when so close before my comic’s comeback, but something’s brewing up in the background and I thought I’d use this time to notify y’all on here, just in case…
To cut to the chase: There’s news going around that Tapas might be shutting down.
In case all this disappears for good, which, in this case, one can only hope for the best, my comic is still up on other sites like Comicfury & Webtoon, even though I do not see myself posting on Webtoon any further due to some gripes I personally have with it. I’m also currently considering Inkstra as a promising new alternative, maybe even a couple more, which I’ll definitely go active on as soon as I finish rendering 7.1.
For any further updates aside from the comic, you can mainly follow me on Instagram and Cara, but I also have accounts on Bluesky & Artfol to share my art on occasions.
It’d be sad to see this site go, if I’m being honest, as I’ve met a lot of wonderful people on here on the journey of creating and reading each other’s cool projects. I’ve always considered this place as my main outlet to get my comic out there and connect with people who have as much fun reading it as I’m creating it, but if Tapas really were to shut down, I guess, this will no longer be the case…
Of course, we all have to wait and see first and, especially, hope for the best.
(In other news: I almost broke my foot 2 weeks ago during a crucial time for work irl, but maybe breaking it would’ve been less of a hassle as recovering from that tear now lmao
did I get a case of the fanfic author’s curse? Did I pass the rite of passage?)

Am even thinking of giving Tumblr a try in the age of the big 2026, if that’s an option to publish a webcomic on bc it seems like an easier way to reach people somehow qwq (and that’s just bc I vaguely remember that one Portal 2 comic based on a fanfic on there lol)

I am also on tumblr!! I haven't posted 7ssc there because I use it as like my nerd fandom space lol but I've been using it for like 10+ years (yikes way to age myself lol) and I like it a lot. Biggest caveat for web comic posting is that everything is going to be in reverse chronological order so it's very hard for folks to navigate reading chapters

Sadly, I didn‘t get the chance to do something for Origins‘ 4th anniversary, but there‘s great things to come later this year. Here‘s also a sneak-peek on an unrelated animation project I put my focus on for the past few months (in which I excused myself to be able to draw my favorite OC (who also happens to be a later character in the Sky Diver series & my favorite of them all)), which luckily is at about 85% done by now!
Let‘s hope things will go more smoothly in the coming weeks ^^

So, I think it‘s a good time for a little update - since 6.6‘s lineart is pretty much done now. Can‘t guarantee that it will be finished by next week, as I hoped it would, so my plans have yet again changed a bit...
Anyhows, I just wanted to let y‘all know that I will be numbering the previous chapter 5 some time soon, but not for chapters 1-4, or as I like to call it „the Tutorial-Arc“, since I do plan on remaking them in the future. Probably by the time Part I of Origins ends some day.
Not that you‘d think I‘d change a lot around, I just wanna make things look a little more organized ^^
Chapter 7, and by extension 8, are half done in writing by now, I‘d still need to work out some (very) important parts, but it shouldn‘t be much of a problem, once chapter 6 is finally wrapped up and I‘m ready to move on and fully focus on what happens next.

With the exception of the last & a little dialogue-heavy episode remaining, I think I can now safely announce to try and release chapter 6.1 by the later half of December, if everything goes smoothly.
