Hello, readers!
How is your Saturday? Good, I hope.
How is mine? I'm happy you asked ....
Working on side stories for "A Moon For The Mountain"!
HAHA!
I know, I know. "She must be stopped!" Oh, but I can't. Even if I wanted to, something grips my creative mind and fills it with stories I cannot resist writing. I am a slave to my own imagination.
"Garson" and "Evie" are only file titles to keep them separate until I decide to give them official names. They will be Part 2 and Part 3. I don't know which will come first, although I've already begun Chapter 3 of "Garson." I had a lot of dialogue I needed to clear out of my head, and now it's taking on my full attention.
Both side stories will be the telling of their lives from childhood until the moment they met. Probably anything you wonder while reading Part 1 will be answered pertaining to the struggles Garson faced and Evie's upbringing and life with her uncle.
You'll get to see the moments as both went about their day just before Part 1 began.
I'm having more fun than I can explain with this. No, it won't be flowers and sunshine, as Ms. Lorey would say. It's the process and bringing to life these two people who were destined to find love where there was none. Their separate journeys make their journey together so much sweeter and more fulfilling.
As you wait for "A Moon For The Mountain" updates, please explore my other novels.
"The Tale of The Butterfly and The Crane" is complete, so you can check that out at any time. Please don't forget to subscribe. You won't get notifications for it since it's finished, but I would appreciate the subs and likes. Comments are always appreciated, as well.
I hope you are enjoying my ongoing novels and stick around for more. I can never stop writing and exploring multiple genres, so you'll never be bored!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hello, readers!
This one was a tough one to read through, I know, but Chapter Five today is easier. It gets better for Evie, I promise! With daily posts, you won't have to wait long. Besides, I am not a fan of dragged out angst lol. π β οΈπΊ

β οΈπΊHello readers! πΊβ οΈ
"A Moon For The Mountain" editing is complete! I'm hoping to upload Chaper 1 next weekend.
I still need to write the synopsis and create the chapter header and footer art.
Also, I changed the cover, banner, and thumbnail art. I just couldn't connect with the other version. I think too much was going on. I was trying to be literal with the title and forgetting the main theme for the story.
πΊBONUS: For those of you who read "Raven & Fox," you'll like the tie-in for this one. "A Moon For The Mountain" is NOT a BL, but Captain Holt from "Raven & Fox" is an important character. You can say this is his back story. Although he wasn't a main character in "Raven & Fox," his inclusion inspired me to write this pirate novel.
Can't wait to see you soon! πππ

βοΈπ·πHello readers and supporters! ππ·βοΈ
How is Spring for you so far? I hope good!
I am done with and now editing my new pirate novel! Next, I'll work on chapter headings and blurbs. It's my way of taking a break before I go back for a final edit. I honestly don't know when exactly I'll be posting it, but I'm trying for this month.
"Cultivating Lilies" will be ending at the end of June, and "Xièzhì" will end in October. I don't want to overwhelm my regular supporters, but at least it's different. ENTIRELY different!
"A Moon For The Mountain" is a period pirate story with a lot more violence and turmoil when compared to my longer works. It will include elements that could be triggering for some, like sexual assault and torture. As I've stated before, this is no Disney version of history. I try not to go into too much detail, but as you've seen, I am not one who believes in avoiding terrible realities.
I will have a synopsis very soon and blurbs that won't spoil anything but will hint at what to expect.
"A Moon For The Mountain" is a short story compared to "The Tale of The Butterfly and The Crane" and "Xièzhì." However, it's longer than "Cultivating Lilies" and "Raven & Fox."
All in all, I think my regular readers will like it. The beginning is rough but it moves along rather quickly and the ending is satisfying. I can't wait to share it with you! πππ
