Motorboat racing history
The world's first motorboat A 1.5 horsepower gasoline engine was attached to the boat in Germany in 1885, and it was first built in Japan in 1911 at Ishikawa Shipyard. The first motorboat race was an international race held in England (UK) in 1904, and in the following year, in 1905, the 1st Gold Cup, which could be called the world motorboat racing championship, was held in the United States. Motorboat racing in Japan In April 1952, motorboat racing started for the first time at Omura Motorboat Racing Station in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan and is still in operation. In Japan, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is responsible for holding races, and 46 organizers, including local governments, are in charge of holding races, and 19 motorboat racing associations are conducting races. I am in charge of management. There are about 1,600 registered players, both male and female, and many of them are in their 40s and 50s. Beginning of motorboat racing in Korea In June 2002, after four years of preparation after the Motorbike Motorboat Racing Act was enacted by the National Assembly in December 1991, the first motorboat racing project in Korea was implemented at Misari Motorboat Racing Station.
