I apologize for missing the regular update for The Saintess and the Villainess last week without saying anything. I was hoping I would be able to make up for it by posting a new chapter this week, but it didn't end up working out.
I've been incredibly busy with my day job the past couple months, and increasing burnout from that coupled with other issues (like having difficulty getting my usual medications consistently) has been making it really hard for me to write much at all. I really want you all to be able to rely on consistent updates from me, but I also want to do this story justice and I feel like even if I managed to force myself to write new chapters at the moment the quality would really suffer. So I've decided to officially go on hiatus until the new year (when things at my day job should have hopefully calmed down a bit.)
The Warmonger Duchess and Her Female Husband will continue to update at the same rate as it has been until the backlog runs out, and then I hope to have new chapters of both stories ready to go up in the new year.

Thank you, that's really nice to hear! I sure wish I could spend my time writing right now, though. The tasks taking up all my time/energy at the moment are a lot less fun and fulfilling orz. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to writing more before too long, though!

Thank you, I'm really glad to hear you're enjoying it! It's still in the works, so once the re-uploads are caught up it will go back to an every-other-week update schedule. I have a lot of big plans for this story, so I hope you'll stick around for it! :)

I've been putting a lot of extra work into this chapter because I really want to make sure I get it right, and it's just not quite ready yet. Thank you for subscribing to The Saintess and the Villainess, too! It seems like GL is the least popular genre on here but I'm glad some of us are putting in the work anyway. :)
Yeah, it seems. I think someone said GL is a rather new category for novel, so maybe that's why it seems to be less popular. I do hope GL authors can grow too, though. Oh, anyway, I hope to see the continuation of your story! It looks interesting so far
