Toshinori Heiichi grew up under the light of many different worlds. He spent his fourth birthday under Gandalf’s fireworks at the Party Tree; he spent his seventh on a desert planet with Two Suns, and then his eleventh on the skydomes of a city-planet at the beating heart of the galaxy; on his twelfth he found a window to yet another world, and celebrated with an abandoned cake and a bottle of coke by himself in the City of Magpies – and on his fifteenth, he rode the skyrails upon the continent of Yanasura whose denizens controlled the 4 Elements and honored a deity called Aeternitas. He departed that world on his sixteenth birthday and returned on the seventeenth; and found that thousands of years had passed in his absence. Heartbroken by his friends lost to time, Toshinori decided since to visit every world and compile every story known to their denizens, so he could cherish and protect them – in the hope that perhaps, people in other worlds would like to hear of tales from another.

Most recently, in a feat of cosmos-traversal gone a little awry, he fell out of the sky onto the Kiyomizu-dera temple in Kyoto. Ever since his arrival, he’s been fascinated by strange technologies, especially what our world takes for granted as the Internet. Seeing that almost none of the tales from the worlds he visited were being told here, he decided to stay on Earth a little longer - people shouldn't miss out on the exciting happenstances of their neighboring universes, after all! Right now, he’s recalling the epic saga of a boy and his friends who he’d witnessed in the Universe of Aeternitas, while enjoying some udon noodles with a cup of Japanese tea. According to Toshinori, this particular tea of our world is also enjoyed by the people there.
