I lost an entire page of ‘Deer Spirits,’ it was finished and everything, but somehow it didn’t save when I told it to, so now I’m stuck with just the icon. I’m gonna have to skip this week for updates, I’ve got work tomorrow and can’t just whip out the page from scratch in one day. I’m so sorry. Have the icon as an apology?
So I’m finally making actual icons for the pages of ‘Magickless,’ if you wanna give it a little peek. They’re nothing special, but I’ve been in such a bad depression for such a long time that I’ve decided to celebrate getting away from that horrible placeholder icon I’ve been using. Still don’t have much of a buffer. Oops.

I watched the Boxtrolls in a movie theater today. It and How to train your Dragon are both my favorite movies, and I hadn't seen Boxtrolls in theaters until today. (Seen all 3 HTTYD's.) So the page I'm working on has a little bonus. Also I might switch between posting a new page one week and updating an uncolored page the next week until I have no more uncolored pages. First, it'll get me to color those pages finally, and second, it'll give me a bit of wiggle room to build my buffer back up.
I have a reference picture on my tablet for the goggles for my costume, so I drew over that.

Nik is canonically pansexual. If you've noticed that he wears a ring, that's because years ago in a roleplay, he got married! That little detail has stuck around in his design, despite the fact that I haven't had a roleplay in forever.
Sean was designed for a D&D campaign that I ended up not joining. I kept messing around with him until a whole entire story was formed around him. And backstory for the world he's in. And AU's. His world is easy to mess with.

Thanks! I'd just finished the Intersex pride griffin last night (I couldn't decide on a pattern for it!) but I'm still taking suggestions for 'em. The new job is actually something I had ages ago, but I'm back again.

Thank you so much. this influx of readers came at a time where I was questioning the validity of this comic, so that’s great timing. (Each of these pages takes a lot longer to draw than pages for ‘Magickless,’ at least for now. Just wait until things start picking up *there*…. Phew.)
