As some of you have noticed, I've got a problem. I want to say I’ll have it fixed soon, but actually it’s a huge chore. Everyone’s allowed one big mistake in their life, but I feel like accidentally deleting my entire novel at 5am while trying to edit it, half asleep, on my tiny phone screen, might take the cake.
I still haven’t decided what to do yet to be honest, which is why I've delayed making any announcements about it. Nonconforming has been such a huge part of my life for so long and I’m so close to finishing, but it still feels like a huge project, made even worse by the hours I’ll need to spend reposting the entire novel. I’m considering taking the time to edit the damn thing now that I’ll be reposting it anyways. I hate to say it’s going to be a while, but right now Nonconforming I’d too painful to touch and I feel extremely embarrassed about the whole situation. My tentative plan is to finish the Match Teacher in the hopes that it will give me the confidence boost needed to jump back into Nonconforming.

On the bright side, if you ever do anything monumentally stupid, you can just remember that a decently popular author and supposedly smart brain doctor once erased years of subscribers, comments, likes, and views accidentally, and you can tell yourself, “at least I’m not that dumb.”

I noticed something was wrong with Nonconforming, but I didn't realise what it was and didn't see this post until now. I'm so sorry that hapenned to you, but try not to be so hard on yourself, even someone completely awake can accidentally click the wrong button, yours just so happened to be of something that's really important to you. We'll be here for anything you need and follow you all the way whatever you choose to do, and I'm sure no one would mind to reread the story
Besides, if it's so easy to delete a whole story I believe it's also an issue to report, did a message to confirm appear before it was delated?

Hey all! So some exciting and some less than exciting news!
Nonconforming is almost at 1000 subs! I’m very excited to release the special episodes, BUT I’m actually in the process of moving across the country right now. Internet connection and access to my computer is going to be sparse for the next three days as I travel through no man’s land of Texas and New Mexico, so I’ve decided to just schedule the special episodes.
Additionally, I really want to release two more fairly long chapters that I think will give some nice context for one of the special episodes in particular. So, I’ve scheduled the special episodes for Friday and five more episodes between tomorrow and Thursday! That’s 12 episodes in 3 days!!! I hope it is enough for you all to forgive me for the delay!

I’m talking about not one, but SEVEN super special episodes from the view points of different characters from Nonconforming! 🤩 I have been working for several weeks on this secret project, and I am so excited to announce that I will be releasing these episodes soon. Most of these mini stories will take place before the events of the main story and each will explore one of our seven protagonists and their relationships with each other. 💞
So when will you be seeing these super special episodes hit your Tapas Home Screen? I’ve decided to make these a reward for myself and all of you once I reach 1,000 subscribers in Nonconforming.
I’ve been racking my brain for a while now trying to think of what I would do once we got there, but I knew it needed to be big!! I also have been itching to explore my characters in a way that just isn’t possible through the first-person narrative. While these episodes might contain some bombs💣(depending on when exactly they get released in the next few weeks), the primary purpose is not to advance the plot, but to explore dynamics outside of Cam. As such, they will not contain any information that is not (eventually) revealed in the main storyline. Now that all the episodes are written, I feel comfortable announcing this stretch goal and saying, wow, they are seriously some of my favorite episodes. 🤩
