Hey all! So some exciting and some less than exciting news!
Nonconforming is almost at 1000 subs! I’m very excited to release the special episodes, BUT I’m actually in the process of moving across the country right now. Internet connection and access to my computer is going to be sparse for the next three days as I travel through no man’s land of Texas and New Mexico, so I’ve decided to just schedule the special episodes.
Additionally, I really want to release two more fairly long chapters that I think will give some nice context for one of the special episodes in particular. So, I’ve scheduled the special episodes for Friday and five more episodes between tomorrow and Thursday! That’s 12 episodes in 3 days!!! I hope it is enough for you all to forgive me for the delay!

I’m talking about not one, but SEVEN super special episodes from the view points of different characters from Nonconforming! 🤩 I have been working for several weeks on this secret project, and I am so excited to announce that I will be releasing these episodes soon. Most of these mini stories will take place before the events of the main story and each will explore one of our seven protagonists and their relationships with each other. 💞
So when will you be seeing these super special episodes hit your Tapas Home Screen? I’ve decided to make these a reward for myself and all of you once I reach 1,000 subscribers in Nonconforming.
I’ve been racking my brain for a while now trying to think of what I would do once we got there, but I knew it needed to be big!! I also have been itching to explore my characters in a way that just isn’t possible through the first-person narrative. While these episodes might contain some bombs💣(depending on when exactly they get released in the next few weeks), the primary purpose is not to advance the plot, but to explore dynamics outside of Cam. As such, they will not contain any information that is not (eventually) revealed in the main storyline. Now that all the episodes are written, I feel comfortable announcing this stretch goal and saying, wow, they are seriously some of my favorite episodes. 🤩

Now that The Rule of Three is complete, I thought now would be a good time to talk about my new updating schedule.
I am moving into the home stretch of my doctorate program and as such would like to take more time to actually not procrastinate. 🤣
Therefore, I will only updating Nonconforming every Monday from now on. I will revisit my updating schedule in June, after I graduate and take my boards. I really want to do this story justice and take the time I need to make it perfect for all of you, but I’m so sorry that doing so will require me to slow down for a while. Hopefully I will return to two (or more) updates a week in the summer.
Also, because I did not post in Nonconforming today, I will be posting the last episode in Arc I of The Match Teach today. After that, I will also be putting The Match Teacher on hiatus until after my boards. However, this week’s episode is a super special treat from Mr. Wright’s perspective with some big reveals, so I hope you enjoy!
