I have written stories in my mind since I can remember. I always loved creating new worlds with interesting characters that people can relate to. My dream is to create my own stories that can inspire and lift up those who feel down, alone, or just want to escape from the troubles of the world for a while.
I decided to pursue my passion in college by attending Brigham Young University Idaho. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with an emphasis on Illustration. I had a tough time at first because I learned that I didn’t have a steady hand that could easily create those beautiful smooth lines I thought were needed to be a good artist. I then met a professor who encouraged me to embrace my quirky style instead of trying to make every work of mine seem like Leonardo da Vinci’s. Since then I’ve been working hard to improve upon this advice. I know I still have a long way to go, but it is a lot of fun to keep learning and improving.
