Can you make a sequel to prince of silk and thorn pls? Also, can you make a prequel that takes place 1000 years before the events of prince of silk and thorn pls?
Hi ellinot! I just wanted to say that I love your work on Prince of Silk and Thorn! I can only imagine how tough it is to create a webcomic, but I admire people like you who are dedicated and passionate to their craft. I'm looking forward to season 2! =)
Hi, this is the first time I've 'talked to' an artist who works on a comic I read. I was rereading 'The Prince' comic again, on the completion of series one and thought I had to write. What you do is alchemy as far as I'm concerned!! what bit of artistic ability I have goes into photography and I'm still crashing about and learning in that medium!! The artwork on this comic is a major reason for me reading it! I'm an impatient grumpy English guy who is a sponge for good stories! Your artwork got me into the comic,I had just found this website and I was in 'Kid In A Sweet Shop' mode so I wasn't really reading the synopsis of the story impatient see?. I'm afraid, like the narrator of the Richard Tompson song 'Vincent Black Lightening 1952', I have always loved red-headed women!! So your depiction of Maeva's magnificent copper? mane as well as the freckles !! got me in one!! I then Had to find out what happened, so when I found Marham wrote novels! Off I went!! Sponge remember? I'm not stopping reading the comic though. It is a different experience and the Haruk and Maeva are the ones I see in my head when I read the novel. We all have pictures of characters in our heads when we read novels don't we? Lord and Lady!! I've written an epistle! Right Pakes, the point! Your artwork captures the little nuances of expression of the characters very well. Especially Haruk who must be a beggar to draw! Seeing as he is so closed off! His tiny smile during their 'Discussion!!' about the sleeping draft as he is drawn further into loving her is perfection!! The Phoenix, a character I'd read before I read your art, is very much as the picture in my head. majesterial, frightening, world weary and damn sexy!!!!! Once again there are a couple of those tiny smiles you do so well. It is that stuff that, to my mind, brings out the characters humanity. I'll now leave you in peace!! Have a good break, I'm really looking forward to series two!!
