“Daddy, have you seen what’s going on the news?” Asked a wide eyes child who looks to be part raccoon.

Carson nods and picks up the kid, putting him in his lap. “I have, and don’t worry Marry. Everything will be fine I promise.”

Marry nods and thinks for a moment. “What about Ethan? What will happen to him?”

“I…” he pauses for a moment. “I don’t know, sweetheart…”

“Will something happen to him?”

“I don’t know-“

“Could we help him, Daddy?” She said looking up at her dad who falls silent at the question.

The question resonated in his head for a moment before nodding. “I’ll help him. You stay here with Sara, ok?” He says kissing Mary's forehead causing her to giggle a little before he sets her down on the floor. Mary giggles more and runs off waving to her dad goodbye before he goes to leave.

Carson takes out his phone to make a call before stepping into a cab, hoping nothing has happened to “Ethan”.
