“Not much is known about him, Jacob.” Said Mark “So, I don’t have much to work from. Just gotta keep my wits about me.”

“And if you don’t?” Inquired Jacob Mavericks.

“Then…” I paused for a moment. “I’ll be the next DeadEye Killer.” Jacob gasped and we both shuddered at the thought.

“That won’t happen though, right? You know I don’t have too many friends out there, Mark. Without you I’m nothin’...”

I sigh. “Things’ll be fine Jacob, I promise. Now just… help me make sure everything for the party is in order.”

Tonight I planned to host the biggest party anyone has ever seen. The reason being… if I am killed. I am damned if there won’t be witnesses.

I want everyone to see the cruel acts this murderer commits on a monthly basis and I know this won’t deter him either.

No matter the challenge he will always take a swing. No matter who is pitching he will always be the first up to bat.

He is known for making the dates of his planned killings mysteriously public. There is even an estimated time.

His most recent date is “June 15th, at around midnight.” And thus my party will start at around 11 and continue continue until dawn. I plan for this party to go down in history; so if I am to die, at least I’ll go out with a bang.

“And so hopefully… this murderer will be caught.” I said to my friend Jacob after explaining my plan.

“Yeah, but… what if he isn’t? What if you die?... will I have to call the authorities on ya if you don’t survive this?!”

“Jeez Jacob calm down. Like I said earlier things will be fine.” I sigh before continuing. “Just keep a close eye and stick with me would ya? If I go anywhere without the party guests around I want someone by my side. So… if I do die… at least my death won’t be pointless.”

Jacob nods but you can practically see him trembling in fear about possibly seeing the DeadEye Killer.

I smile at my friends and chuckle. “Thanks Jacob and don’t worry things will go according to plan!”

“Y-Yeah… according to plan…”
