Title: DeadEye
Current task: Making this party work in my favor.
“A party you say?” Said a women wearing dark shades that hide their eyes completely but there seems to be a dim glow behind the shades.
“Yes DeadEy-“
“Keep it down you fool.” She says hissing at the big man they’re talking to who seems to sink in their chair. They sigh before speaking quietly. “I can’t go around killing a new person everyday because you blow my cover. Got it chump? Blow my cover again and you’ll be my next target.”
“Y-yes Sir…”
“You mean Ma'am. Remember gotta keep my cover. Now let’s go over this one more time to make sure your it gets through your thick skull. What’s the plan I told you?”
“We’re going to the party as a couple.”
“Aaaaand?”
“I’ll get that Jacob fellow away from the target to by you time alone with him and you’ll take down the target.”
“Exactly!” She said with a sinister smile. “And in the meantime before the party I need you to do some I guess undercover work. Find the floor plan for the mansion, and the names of all the staff he hired for the party, understood? I wanna know what I’m working with here.”
“Yes ma'am.”
Name: Mark Jeeves
Current task: Making sure his plan goes off without a hitch.
“Ok so… do we have any idea who the DeadEye’s previous target was?” Asked Mark looking to Jacob who shrugs hearing the question.
“No clue sadly… So we have no idea what the DeadEye will look li-“
“Not necessarily. There are still some things that he always has like his shades and the glow where his eyes should be.”
“Oh yeah and always having some shade of black hair and always wearing fancy attire.”
“Yup! But the last one won’t help us sadly. We are hosting a party which we should get this thing started.”
“Yeah, just… be careful Mark.”
“I’ll be fine Jacob I promise.” He says as he gets one of the butlers he hired to open the front door and finally let the guests inside.
The party is interesting. Thanks to the futuristic tech nowadays combined with a roaring 20s aesthetic it needless to say has a signature look and a memorable one at that. All of the staff and most of the guests have worn attire to match the period the party was mainly based on which helps convey the look Mark was going for; He wanted something worth remembering. Just Incase this is his last night alive.
He’s standing up leaning against a handrail looking over the party with Jacob who is already shaking to the point he might drop the wine glass he’s drinking that actually has orange juice in it. Jacob doesn’t like to drink; Even at a party where everyone is drinking like it’s the end of days. Mark although is choosing not to drink more than one glass of wine. He remembers why he hosted this party and although he’d love to drown his sorrows down with alcohol like his guests. That would more likely lead to the thing he’d be drinking to forget.
A little before an hour into the party Mark and Jacob finally leave their perch and go down to talk to some of the guests. The date for the DeadEye’s next murder was said to be around midnight. So, if they try anything. Mark wants there to be witnesses.
