Jacob isn’t known the be the bravest person, he’s well known for being very skittish and a bit of a coward, that is until he heard his friend scream from the Balcony.

He was already sprinting in that direction thanks to the tip that guy gave him and he thought he was too late until he saw her. Clearly about to give the final blow but made a crucial mistake. She didn’t know Jacob was watching.

She slowly walks over to Mark who’s tending to his eye and she was about to stab him until Jacob tackles her, knocking the knife out of his hand, and throwing her off the balcony.

The moment she hit the ground you can hear a loud “snap” sound. Even if DeadEye survived the fall, which they doubted guessing by the literal light leaving their eyes, she would have been paralyzed.

Mark thanks Jacob for saving him and they figured everything went somehow oddly according to plan. And we’re about to celebrate until Jacob spoke up.

“Uuh… M-mark… I th-think we h-have a problem…” Said Jacob as he started to tremble and stutter again.

Mark was confused until he looked in mirror on the wall behind Jacob. His eye socket that had the eye DeadEye ripped out is… glowing? Mark nods with a deep sigh.

“Yeah, that’s a bit of an understatement Jacob…”
