Name: Malcolm “Slug” Jamison
Goal: …
After he left the party that night he just wanders for a bit. Driving somewhere yet nowhere at the same time; Not really knowing what to do with himself. Eventually he does head to his home that might as well be a cardboard box but it’s better than nothing.
He lies down and somehow between his tossing and turning he manages to get a few hours of rest before getting dressed and heading to the diner to meet up with Cameron.
He arrives there exactly 8 O’clock sharp, as does Cameron who he holds the door for.
“Thanks.” Said Cameron smiling to Malcolm who nods with a smile too.
They sit in a booth towards the back of the diner and fall silent for a moment before Cameron breaks the silence.
“So… if I may ask… How are you still alive after all these years? I mean… you’re from the late 2000’s and at the time they didn’t have the technology we do now so…”
Malcolm falls silent at the question, hesitating to answer, before sighing deeply. “Both me and DeadEye are cursed. The thing is though… DeadEye chose for us to be cursed but gave me no say in the matter…” he said as he started to choke on his words for a moment. “That’s why Mrs.Myers was killed so brutally. He used her death to activate the curse sadly.”
“How do we break the curse then?” She said without hesitation.
“Wait what?” Malcolm said stunned.
“How do we break the curse? There’s got to be someway to break it and if there is that could be our way to make DeadEye and my brother separate again.”
“I uh…” he sighs. “I’m not sure but I know who DeadEye talked to when he got us cursed…”
“Who?”
“You know the cemetery in town? The guy who runs that place.”
“Wait… that old bat cursed you-“
“Shush! Remember that guy cursed two people and I know many more to basically live forever and be able to possess the people they kill. So, be careful what you say about him.”
She nods and falls silent to take a drink of her milkshake that just arrived. “So… after this… do you wanna go by the cemetery? Talking to the guy could be worth a shot.”
“I’d rather not but…” he sighs. “Is also rather not have you go there alone. So, I’m going with you.”
She smiles hearing that and they spend the rest of their time at the diner talking about less serious matters and all around just having a good time.
