I took in deep breaths, but nothing could calm me down at this point. They were just gone.

I sat down on the white, cushioned couch. I sprang into tears, had it need to be my family? What did I ever do?
I wanted to sleep, but I had no time. I could not sleep when my family could be on the very brink of death.
I took my bag. I stole a furtive glance at my bike, thinking whether I should have taken it instead of running, but there was no time to turn back now. The police station, why had it have to be so far away?
I looked up. Alas, I reached the bright blue police station. Many armed men were positioned at the front and back of the gate. I dashed in.
I may have looked like a mad man, but who cares right now. I ran towards a counter, trying as hard as I could to not faint. The officer looked at me with a hint of suspicion.
"What do you need?" He asked sternly.

A tall man with black hair came out, I told him what he needed to know. He looked at me as if having a poker face. It was like something like this already happened several times, and I was the next victim.
