Orleans looked at me like I belonged in the Loony Bin. Her eyes widened. She hid her face in her shirt and faced her back towards me. I looked at her carefully. I noticed at the tip of her ebony black braids, the black was lighter than the rest of her hair.
"Tell me the truth," I commanded.
"NO!" She yelled. "No no no no no no no..." She repeated over and over and over,
"Tell me!" I commanded louder.
"Shut up, Yeebelr!!!!" She screamed, finally facing me. I froze. She walked closer and closer to me. She opened her mouth wide like an angry lion and closed her eyes shut tight.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed. Steam rose from her eyes as her scream echoed across the world. Her scream sent chills down my spine. Her scream was that of a banshee. I backed away from her in fright. I got hold of my bike and began to ride away back to my house. Her scream was still as loud as it was when I was standing right in front of her. But then suddenly... it stopped. I looked back, and she was gone.
I walked in my front door, the scream still echoing in my head. I wanted to talk to somebody about it. If I did, maybe they would have answers. I looked at the book about the Internal Spirits once more. I flipped through until I saw a page with a pair of spirits together. Again, I quietly read aloud to myself, "Lyma, the Spirit of Hate, and Tano, the Spirit of Non-Acceptance. Lyma and Tano have been together as a couple for thousands of years. Legend has it that they had an unwanted son, who looked less like a spirit, but more a human baby. They named the child after 'Dismantled Disgrace', but the baby's gender and the name are still unknown to this day. Lyma and Tano threw the baby up into the sky, and it never came down. They were relieved that their baby was gone." I closed the book. I finally decided to talk to flower and stem about Orleans, AKA Maybe-Sienna.
As I walked down the stairs to the kitchen, I saw flower preparing her own version of bread, which she called Floral Bread. It was a classic break, except with pollen and edible flower petals in it. "Flower," I said to her. She turned around to me and smiled. "Hello, my sprout. Anything I can do for you, honey? Here, have a slice of bread while we talk." Flower knew I loved her Floral Bread. I like it more than regular bread. The plant-y taste just was so fitting for my cravings. She put a slice of the warm bread on my plate. I took a bite and savored the amazing flavors. "What did you want to talk about, Yeebelr?" Flower asked me with a serious look on her face. "So today at school, Orleans was crying," I said. "But her tears had a tint of blue in them, and they were glowing. Soon me, and everyone who must have seen the tears started crying. I looked in the old book you used to read me, and the Internal Spirit Sienna had the same thing. I asked Orleans about it, and she opened her mouth really wide and started screaming like a banshee. The scream could've echoed for miles.
Flower was chewing her bread slowly. She swallowed, and she had a wistful look. "Orleans... she IS Sienna, Yeebelr. Her mom told me." She struggled to say. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "I don't... know." She said, stumped. "What else have you been keeping from me?" I asked her. There was silence.
