Dear diary

Today Mike and I got to use the new base! Dad didn't want us to go out because it was cold. So we snuck around him. Good superheroes need to know when to avoid a fight. Dad is too big to fight, but he's not even a supervillain. So Mike still has to do his very best to get better.

He loved the new base. I think. Mike doesn't talk too much, but he got really excited even in the bad weather. I taught him all the moves we went over in the comic books and movies. It's not easy to get him to do it right, but I'm sure he'll get there. The more we do this the better he'll get. It's like counting! Mike's not very good at counting though... so maybe this is different?

Dad got angry we snuck out again. I don't get why he does this, he always wants us to go outside when we stay in to watch TV. But now he wants us to come inside. I'm sure he's a bad guy, he just doesn't want Mike to be a superhero. But we'll show him! I hope we can make him know he's wrong though. He's still dad after all. He just needs to be nicer.

Mom got mad as well, but I brought Mike back before dinner, so that's fine right? They always say I should be back then. Maybe she's afraid the bad guys will get him? But if he doesn't train they will catch him anyway! Being a superhero is really hard...
