Within my nightmare of darkness,

I drift among the shadows.

Such dazzling in the far corner,

That I cannot go

 I dare not venture out,

Into the gleaming outer limits,

Hazardous to my health,

If I did

Maybe I would have dissolved,

Left behind forever in the dark,For this is where I belong.

None can get a glimpse at me.

 Nor can I notice them.

For I hear only the cries of the mistreated in life.

Without this,

I would never know

I the paths I've chosen may be fatal

Just leading to the oblivion of darkness

But with every twist and turn

Down the alleys I venture

And I will live on in whatever light

As the future desires it.
