Kara was legitimately surprised  by Aiden's invitation and strangely there was something about the man's behaviour that intrigued her "You are a puzzle Mr Strauss" Aiden took a bite from his cake and said "Call me Aiden, so what do you do in life?" His monotonous voice could have been misinterpreted as a mocking or disrespectful gesture but now Kara was starting to think that this was just how this man spoke and acted and it somewhat made her feel pity for him, he probably lacked socialization skills and didn't have many friends  "Is everything alright?" Aiden asked, jolting Kara back to reality "Uh?What?Oh ya I am studying psychology at the University of Rotterdam, it's my first year so I am basically still getting accustomed to the lectures" In that moment loud music came from the eastern part of town,it was probably a festival and since Dutch cities weren't that big it was possible to hear such sounds from any point of the city, they both listened to the music that seemed to be of Jazz genre for a moment before Kara then asked "what about you Aiden?What do you do in life?"

The answer was prevented by  loud screams that came from outside,followed by tremors, Aiden and the people in the bar barely had the time to turn towards the door before a man covered in blood and in utter shock barged in and started screaming in Dutch "HIDE!!!!!!!HIDEEEEE!!!THEY ARE COMING!!!!"

At first no one moved, some because of confusion and others because of uncertainty, but the screams and tremors kept getting closer so everyone complied and hid beneath tables and booths,Kara could feel her  heart racing as everything got slower to her,as she glanced over at her father he placed a single finger on his lip signaling her to not make any sound,the trembling man who had barged in was curled up in a corner near the window and quivering violently in total fear, he kept whispering inaudible things in a panicked manner as sweat dripped from his chin.

"Calm down" Aiden said while placing his hand on her shoulder, only then did she realise how quickly she was breathing, suddenly the car owners who had parked their cars because of the tremors and other pedestrians started screaming in tandem.

"Hey what are you doing?aahahaahahahahahah someone get him off me,get him off MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" A male voice yelled

"AAAAAAAAAAHAH" a lady screamed desperately before suddenly ceasing,it seemed to be hell outside as the tremors stopped and screams,yells and supplications were accompanied by what seemed to be wild snarls, munching, tearing sounds and growls

A terrified Kara looked at Aiden who didn't seem in anyway moved or bothered, he instead put his hand behind his back and retrieved an object that Kara couldn't identify until he loaded it.......it was a hand gun.
