Kara's eyes widened as she scrambled away from Aiden in shock "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A GUN?" she yelled, Aiden glanced at her "It's one of my work tools of course" he said casually, she couldn't believe it, he said it so naturally, like carrying a gun in public was the most normal thing on earth, whoever this man was ..........he was dangerous.

Aiden moved stealthily towards the window next to the trembling man "Tell me what you know" as the man slowly raised his head Aiden instantly noticed the fear and shock in the man's face and eyes, whatever was going on out there must have been messed up, even as he stood there he could still hear the screams of people and loud grunts followed by gnashing sounds, the loud music from the east kept blaring, that meant the eastern part of town probably didn't even know about what was going on, this was a good thing especially because the music drowned every sound that came from the bar.

"I-I-It st-t-tarted at the train station,the t-train arrived and one of the cars was filled with these bastards" he then saw the first tears roll down the man's cheek "I was at the ticket machine when the doors opened....m-m-my little girl,she was right there!!!!!!!" The man broke in tears and to this Aiden didn't know how to react,he knew that what happened was bad but his inability to decently empathise and feel various emotions himself made him unable to respond adequately,he instead took a look around and realised that everyone had heard what the man said, the man amidst sobs and tears continued "I tried running towards her but the crowd that was running away from these crazy bastards trampled me and made me fall into the tracks,that's  when I lost consc-" The man's mouth was promptly covered by Aiden at this point,the man's eyes darted from left to right in confusion "Listen" Aiden seethed but one of the two lovers to the left immediately replied with "I can't hear anything..." Chatter from the television continued as Kara's voice from the back quivered "That's the problem, the loud jazz music is gone" In that moment of silence that followed they realised that the only sound that could be heard in the whole street was........the TV in the bar, Kara scrambled quickly for the remote and punched the red button  and switched it off, another painful moment of silence followed as Aiden noticed every single reaction,from horror to fear "Did it work?" one of the older men said while sitting on the floor with facial features painted in worry, once again silence followed, Kara's father slowly rose from his crouched position and looked through the window, what he saw made his blood freeze, across the street dozens of people with blood-stained clothes,bloodied mouths, white pupil-less eyes and frenzied facial expressions ran towards the bar "Fuck" was all Kara's father could say before the first of those mad beings banged against the door,followed closely by two more.

BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG,BANG

This went on for a few seconds as a lady broke into tears and screamed "GO AWAY LEAVE US ALONE!" This only further stimulated the beings, Aiden immediately faced the man whose mouth he had covered "What is wrong with these people?" he asked blankly, as the man's lips started moving something crashed through the window right above them and rolled all the way to the back, Aiden who had shielded himself from the broken glass pieces was jolted by Kara's desperate scream as the intruding man pounced on her.

"HELP ME!!!!!"
